It is unselfconsciously daft. While the animations are as crude as can be all are drawn on screen with a mouse and a lot of the action seemingly juvenile, the films still bear unmistakable Lynch hallmarks: Describing Dumbland as a weekly offering of "stupid, coarse humor," Lynch sits at his Apple iMac, drawing images with his mouse, animating them, providing the voices, composing and performing the background music. Randy then screams helplessly in agony as hundreds of ants march into his body cast. The horribly mutilated man rolls out into the street and is run over by a truck. Randy attempts with disastrous results to destroy the treadmill. One of the oddest cartoons of all time, and that's saying something.
